The ‘Villa Lyubimets’trademark appeared on the Bulgarian market in 2001 when 740 acres of land in the Lyubimets region were planted with red varieties and the products were named after its place of origin.

The founders of the business are:
Todor Batkov, Anna Tashkova and Atanas Tashkov

They believe that the old traditions should be revived but in a newer and more modern way. In keeping with the Latin proverb ‘in vino veritas’ they took the first steps in creating the brand ‘Villa Lyubimets’ – a symbol of quality and unique wines.
